RATS Kids Duathlon
That was a fantastic event with almost 600 kids from the local school who entered the race. Weather was average but that didnt stop everybody to enjoy the race and have fun in the big multisport event of the year in Rotorua.
Thanks to all for your participation and come back next year in March.
The event offers two distances including the Short and the Long course.
Year 3 & 4 children must enter the Short Course
Year 7 & 8 children must enter the Long Course
Year 5 & 6 children can choose either distance

Frequent questions and answers
Registration for the event is through your school. Numbers will be capped so be in quick!
On the day of the event, manual registrations may be declined, at RATS sole discretion, depending on the number of registrations already processed.
No transfers or changes may be made on the day of the event.
8.30am Registration and Transition area opens
9.15am All bikes must be in transition area and everyone must be present for the race briefing
9.30am RACE 1: Years 5 & 6 SHORT Course Race Starts
10.15am RACE 2: Years 3 & 4 SHORT Course Race Starts
11.00am RACE 3: LONG Course Starts
Where possible there will be separate staggered starts for girls and boys for each race.
Prize giving for all races will be immediately after the last finisher completes the Long Course.
