About Us
RATs was registered as an incorporated society in 1992. The club runs training sessions and puts on several events every year. We aim to promote triathlon and multisport within the Rotorua community and to get everyone involved. RATs caters for beginners all the way through to Olympic hopefuls. We also hold a number of social events every year to hang out, eat pizza and catch up with everyone.

Physiotherapy Clinic deal
Physiotherapy Clinic Absolute Rehabilitation are now sponsoring us in the form of a discount for treatment for members and a cash payback for every new injury a club member is treated for at one of PCAR’s clinics. The Physiotherapy clinic has three treatment clinics, details are at the bottom of the email and can be looked up on their website http://www.physiotherapyclinic.co.nz/Welcome.html Those guys have a very good reputation and know what they are doing, first hand experience…
So, what’s the deal? You get hurt and go and visit the Physiotherapy Clinic for their great treatment…easy aye, most of us know how to do that, especially the first part…then just let them know that you are a current RATs member and you will get a good discount for your treatment as well as a good treatment!
Discount rates are as follows

Additionally the club gets paid $10 for every new injury when a club member is treated for at one of the clinics. So from now on, if you hurt yourself, just remember, it’s all in the name of the club! Prez Kat promises she shall not wander around the forest and streets trying to trip you over and knock you off the bike although it’s tempting…
